At A-1 Stoneworks, we understand that your home is all about you,
your personal style, your tastes, your memories, and most importantly your sanctuary. With that in mind we begin our remodeling
process by finding out about you, what you want and what you need. If you’d like, we could sit down and go through page
after page of catalogues, drag you around to showroom after showroom, or show you cabinet door styles and expect you to make
the leap from a semi-custom, arch, raised panel, full overlay, semi-glazed, maple, mocha cabinet door into your dream
kitchen. But we’d rather not. We want to do as much of that work for you as we can.
We believe that if we start learning about our customers the first
time we meet, whether in person, through our advertising, or in our interactive environment, then we can present design solutions
that are born of beautifully simple and intuitive style.
Once we feel comfortable that we have a sense of your style and
needs, we then recommend the kitchen or bathroom that suits your functional and design solutions.
Project Timeline
Once you’ve agreed on the look and style, we then prepare
a project completion schedule which line items each job and the amount of time for completion. This definitive timeline of
the project allows both of us to know exactly the scope of work involved, and what day we’re going to begin and finish
each project. Our project timeline is comprised of days not weeks. Once we have both signed off on the project schedule, we
will order the materials and begin installation as soon as all materials have arrived.

At A-1 Stoneworks, we specialize in designing a simply beautiful workspace to meet
your needs.  When deciding to undertake a home solution project there are several
basic steps one must consider, before ultimately moving forward:
- Understanding your biggest problem with the current situation?
- Why you would like to change it?
- How long has it been a problem?
- Have you envisioned how the solution will be different than what you have currently?
We suggest that you begin the process thinking about your needs with family members and friends who
have been through the remodeling experience. Determine your reasons for undertaking the project.

- Do you want to increase or maintain the value of your largest
investment?
- Are you thinking of selling your home?
- Have you just moved into a home and the kitchen or bathroom is out of date or simply not your
style?
Once you’ve determined why you want to remodel, the next step is to determine the scope.
A safe rule to follow is that the remodeling project should
fall between 10 to 15% of the value of your home. If you would like our recommendation, simply ask us and we’ll plug
your estimates into our ROI calculator to give you a feel for what you may want to spend. If you’re looking at remodeling as an investment, the project scope and cost should
not exceed the value that it will add to your home.
